Studio Studies are original oil sketches done from life within a set time limit and often finished from memory. This method allows Adam to both explore the visible world while actively engaging his imagination. These smaller oil paintings are wonderful works full of discovery and experimentation. The paint application and techniques that are explored in these experimental works often later is incorporated into more large scale works.
Studio Studies are a wonderful opportunity to own a piece of an original art that shares insight directly into the artist's process. Questions?
