Butterflies & Tattoo Machines
May 25, 2011
Still spending a lot of time at the tattoo shop learning the ins and outs; working on the mechanics of the machines themselves and how they run, along with making some “old school” or traditional style drawings to help get the hang of the whole process.

This thing was A LOT harder to put back together than I thought it would be. Pretty simple machine but I learned the hard way one little detail can make or break whether it’s going to run or not.
Eagle vs. Snake line drawing. Wonder who wins?
Mo’ drawings. This time with some shading (awful quality, whoops).
Hung out with some butterflies.
This dude really liked me; chilled out on my shoulder for a solid 10 minutes.
Also spent some time at a waterfall. I climbed up the side of it and walked along the stream where I saw this photo op. Spring is in the air! A beautiful reminder that everything goes in circles. This year brought one hell of a harsh winter but it made me appreciate the sun and scenes like this so much more.
